FREE STATE PRESIDENTS 115 EURO TIE A DISGRACE SAY RSF
The fact that Free State President Michael D Higgins can purchase a tie
for one hundred and fifteen euro from the elite Paris fashion shop
made famous by Charlie Haughey shows not much has changed
in Free State politics, a spokesman for Republican Sinn Fein said
today.
Sean O’Neill from Quinn’s Cottages, Prospect in Limerick a
local RSF spokesman said that in one day the Free State Labour party
President had also spent over one and a half thousand euro
on a suit and jacket.
These figures are obscene and come at a time when most
people on social welfare are existing on what the Free State President
pays for a tie, he said. It is nothing short of a national
disgrace.
In fact during one day candidate Higgins spent five times
the weekly average social welfare payment on clothes,
according to election spending figures made public at
the weekend.
While most people are surviving on 188 euro – and in many
cases on a basic 122 euro - the Free State Labour party President deems it
necessary to spend 115 euro on a piece of neckwear.
While people are no doubt entitled to spend their money
as they see fit, the role of President is often described as
one of setting an example. Judging by the Charvet tie for
115 euro, this is one area where Free State President Higgins will be
continuing an Irish Free State political tradition of purchasing from
Paris!

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS NOT WAY TO DEAL WITH
PROBLEM OF ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
The fact that Limerick City Councillors have decided to meet
in private without any public consultation on the issue of
anti-social behaviour is a typical example of how City Hall
reacts to a potential problem, a spokesman for Republican
Sinn Fein said today.
Sean O’Neill from Quinn’s Cottages in Prospect said that
his area and nearby Ballinacurra Weston has suffered for
years from the activities of troublesome tenants in City
council owned property.
When the matter comes to a head in a new City Council
estate, the Councillors decide to debate the matter but it
is done in private, he said.
It is this attitude of push it under the carpet that has led to
the current awful situation with the Regeneration Agencies
where millions have been spent but not one house built.
The fact is tenants have to sign conditions to obtain City
Council housing and these conditions relate to anti-
social behaviour and warn of the consequences.
Therefore there should be no need for behind closed doors
meetings of Councillors to discuss the problem of anti-
social behaviour.
By scurrying behind closed doors, the Councillors are
giving the impression that they are afraid of some
troublesome families. The full extent of the law must
be used against anti-social behaviour. It is only when
they face eviction and jail that some individuals will
change their behaviour.

IMPACT OF QUEEN ON MCGUINNESS DISMAYS HIM
It is said that meeting the Queen of England can have a strange
effect on people, but this has happened to the British Crown Deputy
First Minister in the Occupied Six Counties even though he boycotted
her presence, a spokesman for Republican Sinn Fein said today.
Joe Lynch from Ballinacurra Weston in Limerick, the RSF national
spokesman said that Martin McGuinness has been acting in a new
and unusual manner since expressing his desire to meet the Queen
in the Irish News.
“He told the paper that the Queen had made an impact on him
“because she was prepared to honour those patriots who
struggled in 1916 to bring about a free and independent 32
county Irish Republic.”
“To date his comment has not been challenged by anyone
but it cannot be allowed stand on the public record because
McGuinness has played a vital role in demonising those who
support the principles of traditional Irish republicanism.
“Whatever about the Queen’s impact on him there is no doubting
the impact McGuinness and his comrade in arms Adams have had
on undermining the cause of Irish freedom and tarnishing the
ideas of the leaders of 1916.
“The fact is the Stormont Agreement will not bring about the 32
country All Ireland republic. By their actions Adams and McGuinness
have sabotaged the cause of Irish Republicanism and made a mockery
of the sacrifices of so many who have died in the ongoing cause of Irish
freedom.

The Truth about the Orange Order
We in the RSF Liam Kenny / Kevin Barry Cumann, would like to draw your attention to the true nature of the Orange Order. Far from the image the state media attempts to portray of elderly gentlemen in suits and bowler hats. The reality is far removed, by an organisation with gender discrimination, religious sectarianism, homophobia and serious racial overtones, at its core principals. Although this photograph speaks a thousand words alone, below is an independent researchers analysis of the Orange Order and its fellow Sectarian Organisations.
The Orange Order, the Royal Black Preceptory, the Apprentice Boys and the Independent Orange Order are exclusively Protestant, fascistic sectarian secret societies which are collectively referred to as the Loyal Orders. Catholics are excluded from membership of these supremacist organisations, as are those married to Catholics or even converts to the Reformed churches. The Loyal Orders are strongly linked to Scottish Rite freemasonry, with many members having joint membership of Masonic lodges. Even a casual perusal of the Loyal Orders' regalia, banners, collarettes and indeed their rituals such as those connected to their various 'degrees', contain all the symbols of freemasonry. The Loyal Orders are extremely influential in the occupied six counties with a membership that included the so-called pillars of the ruling-class, such as the judiciary. Also the Loyal Orders are closely linked to Loyalist paramilitaries.
Conversely for organisations that ostensibly promote the reformed churches and even evangelical Christianity, the rituals of the Loyal Orders are cult-like and indeed are rooted in masonic occultism. For instance, on completion of the various masonic type 'degrees' in the Royal Black Preceptory, the initiate is confronted in a darkened room by members holding human bones and a skull with a warning of a bloodcurdling fate for those who betray the sect's secrets! Similarly, initiates to the Orange Order often take part in a ceremony called 'Riding the Goat' which despite it's satanic undertones, has been described as similar to the rituals of humiliation and fealty that Freemasons must undergo at their various 'degrees'.
Finally we would like to state that such sectarian attitudes are unacceptable in any community and should not be supported by any right thinking individual.

KERRY NUKE FEAR BY RSF
The Labour leader and Free State foreign minister Eamon
Gilmore has been criticised for making speeches about
the nuclear threat posed by Iran while ignoring the real
danger from Britain by a spokesman for Republican Sinn
Fein in Kerry.
John Sheehy, from Listowel, the RSF chairman in Kerry
asked why does Mr Gilmore not condemn the British and their vast
nuclear arsenal?
“This situation is extremely dangerous, a colonial war-mongering nation
like Britain sitting on a vast stockpile of weapons of mass destruction.
“Maybe Mr Gilmore should look closer to home when he thinks of
nuclear weapons. It would make far more sense to impose sanctions
on Britain, a country with a bloodthirsty imperialist foreign policy
and a large amount of weapons of mass destruction at its disposal.
“Eamon Gilmore was present at a meeting in Europe where the European
Union banned imports of oil from Iran and imposed a number of other
economic sanctions along with freezing the assets of Iran's central bank,
banning all trade in gold and other precious metals with the bank and other
public bodies which is aimed at deflecting Tehran's nuclear programme.
“The Labour leader is quoted as saying at this meeting; “Here we’re dealing
with an undisputed fact that Iran is militarising its nuclear set-up. There is
no argument about the threat that that poses,”.
“In making statements like these Mr Gilmore is simply taking the correct line
to satisfy his British masters. The irony in what Mr Gilmore says must be
pointed out. Our country is currently occupied by a country which uses a large amount
of Nuclear power along with operating the dangerous Sellafield nuclear
reprocessing site which is just across the Irish Sea.
The British army maintains a large quantity of nuclear weapons of mass destruction,
practically on our door step. The destructive power of which is unimaginable.

HOME NO GO AREA FOR ANTI CHARGE CAMPAIGNER
A Limerick pensioner has declared his home a “no go area”
for the new household charge and is now encouraging other
people to take the same action.
Sean O’Neill from Quinn’s Cottages in Prospect has posted
warning signs on his windows drawing attention to his
anti-household charge campaign.
He said today that the new household charge is unfair and
unjust and it hits some of the most vulnerable people in
society.
The fact is there are many pensioners who are struggling to
survive financially in the current difficult economic
climate. While they may own their homes it is an investment they
have paid for all their lives and now with their incomes
reduced they are barely able to manage.
This new tax hits the old and those on social welfare
who are now paying the price for the criminal actions
of the corrupt bankers and property speculators.
The ordinary decent people of Ireland are being crucified
by the politicians who are bailing out their friends in
the banks by cutting the incomes of the most needy in
our society. It is a national scandal.
I am now urging people to put posters in their
windows declaring their opposition to this new
household charge.
